When the last light of the hut far in the mountains diminish, monsoon arrives with a thunder marking the beginning of life in the Sawai Madhopur subtropical, dry climate with distinct weather. The rain makes the place lush and beautiful during the season many animals especially big cats disappears into the deep green forests only to come back with their new offsprings to welcome the visitors of the park. With vast knowledge of Rajasthan, wildlife, history, culture and traditions, the experienced team and assigned guides with their refined understanding ensure the deeply personal and inexpressible adventure experiences here at Ranthambore – whether spotting tigers and leopards inside the National Park, exploring the Ranthambore Fort, driving by the lakes, bird watching in the lush Banas river bed or roaming young, wild and tree through villages and outskirts by the forests – over a camel and night watching the striped hyenas. Home to crocodiles, leopards, jackals, sambar deer and 300 species of birds. But Ranthambore is best known for the elusive Bengal Tigers. Once the hunting ground of the Maharaja of Jaipur the park is one of the best places in the world to see tigers in the wild and offers picturesque view of the hills, rocks and grasslands. Venture into the park in an open top vehicle with an expert wildlife guide, hearing stories of his wild encounters. Situated within the park protected by sheer cliffs on three sides with Jain and Hindu temples, Kandahar Fort aka Ranthambore Fort one of the oldest in India is perched on a hill 300 metres above the plains. A millennium of history is on display among the ruins of the palaces and do stop at the elephant temple, where Hindu & Jain gods are honoured, and the Sadhus will beat their drums in blessings.

Day 1-2NEW DELHI

Welcome to Delhi! The rich heritage and culture

Open your eyes to this scintillating town of greenery and heritage. New Delhi forms a very significant part of every visitor’s voyage to India as it introduces you to the very heart of India’s past, the Mughal rule and the British empire through the various monuments, forts & mausoleums constructed in this regard.

Bid by UNESCO as a world heritage site and recording itself as one of the most important cultural cities across the world, Delhi serves you ride in a rickshaw in Old markets of Delhi which is an adventure in itself. Delhi is a top priority of many explores. Such a reputation comes from the existence of beautiful monuments like the Lal Quila (Red Fort), Qutub Minar etc. as well as the breath taking shopping markets of Chandni chowk and Delhi Haat.

Day 3AGRA

Glory of the Taj & quiet of the lawns

Lying on the banks of the legendary river Yamuna, situated 225 miles west of the state capital, Agra is the proud holder of the 7th wonder of this world, The astounding Taj Mahal. This four pillar structure is an engineering & architectural marble created in the mughal era by Shah Jahan to bury the sacred remains of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Agra also offers you the chance to visit Baby Taj (Itmad-ud-Daula), pay a visit to the Agra fort & take a walk in the quiet of the gardens surrounding the Taj.

Day 4BHARATPUR

The hub of birds, Keoladeo National Park

Former capital of the Jat kingdom and the seat of the beautiful Keoladeo National Park in the state of Rajasthan, Bharatpur is an alluring tourist destination housing over 364 species of birds including species from Afghanistan & Turkmenistan & the extremely rare siberian crane in the Keoladeo duck hunting reserve. Other attractions in Bharatpur include the Government museum, the Golbagh Palace, Ganga Mandir & Kishori Mahal

Day 5-6RANTHAMBORE

The dense forests & Bengal tigers of Ranthambhore

Home to above 60 tigers & a wide range of other wild animals including the hyena, crocodiles, bears etc, Ranthambhore is one of north India’s largest wildlife sanctuaries located in Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan 160 km southeast of Jaipur. This large forest reserve consists not only of wildlife and the dense forests but also give way to the gorgeous Ranthambhore fort in the hills above plains which also houses a Ganesh Temple. Various safaris run from early morning searching for tigers in Ranthambhore.

Day 7-8JAIPUR

Rajasthani Cuisine, pink city views & the traditional markets

Treat yourself to some of the traditional Rajasthani delicacies (especially Dal Baati with churma) in the local restaurants of Jaipur after a go through of the prepossessing forts & monuments of Jaipur (especially the Amber Fort & Nahargarh Fort overlooking the entire pink city from the top of the hills) followed by some endless shopping in the old city of Jaipur. This desert capital offers unlimited options to everyone in terms of interests & activities.

Day 9SARISKA

Beauty with wildlife, Sariska

Located barely 100 kms from Jaipur and another 100 from Delhi, Sariska is a beautiful town housing the dazzling Sariska tiger reserve set up in 1955 as a wildlife sanctuary and acknowledged as a part of the project tiger in 1978. The most attractive part of this tiger reserve being the Bengal tiger, you may also come across other species of wild animals like leopard, jungle cat, sambhar, chital & the golden jackal. Sariska is also famous for the sariska palace and nearby destinations.
