Check out from hotel after early breakfast and sightseeing of Chennai visiting – Government museum, St.Thomas Church, Fort St. George & Museum. Onward proceed to reach the laid back beach town of Mamallapuram. sightseeing tour of Mamallapuram visiting – ‘The Arjuna`s Penance’ (Bass Relief), ‘Five rathas’ (symbolises equality of men & women) & the famous ‘Shore temple’. Apart from the above said monuments we also visit many other cave temples. As a special activity we will be visiting a sculpture studio to know more in detail about sculpturing. Overnight at hotel.

At Kanchipuram, visit Varadaraja Perumal temple, Ekambareshwar temple, and Kailasanathar temple. Visit a Silk Saree Weaving by local families. Continue to the laid-back beach town of Mahabalipuram. Check into your hotel. Free evening to rest or leisure on the beach. .Over night at Hotel.

Breakfast at residing hotel and drive to Pondicherry. Up on Arrival Check in at Hotel. sightseeing visiting “Sri Aurobindo Ashram” – Established by Sri Aurobindo, a revolutionary turned poet and later developed by the Mother, the Aurobindo Ashram has grown into a centre for the practice of Integral Yoga, a seat of learning and a training ground for sadhana.”The Pondichery Museum” – brings back to memory the glorious past of Pondicherry from the days of the pre-Christian era down to the present day providing glimpses of the art and culture of the people of this region during the Pallava, Chola and Vijayanagar days & to “Auroville” – described as the city of Tomorrow where an attempt is made to replicate on much larger scale the experiment that is being carried out in Sri Aurobindo Ashram for the evolution of a new society envisioned by Sri Aurobindo and the Mother where people could live “freely as citizens of the world, obeying one single authority that of the Supreme Truth, a place of peace, concord, harmony”. With a relaxed check out of the day at 09.00am we can drive to reach Kumbakonam – Enroute visit to Chidambaram and Gangaikondacholapuram – Chidambaram is one of the most ancient and most celebrated of shrines in India. It is of great religious as well as historic and cultural significance. Chidambaram is associated with Nataraja, or Shiva in his Ananda Tandava pose (the Cosmic Dance of bliss) in the cosmic golden hall and the hall of consciousness (Chit Sabha). Shiva is also worshipped in the “formless form” of the Chidambara Rahasyam, while the temple is known for its Akasa Lingam, an embodiment of Shiva as the formless Space.  Onward Proceed to Kumbakonam .Upon arrival check in at Hotel.Overnight at Hotel.

Morning visit of Temple in Kumbakonam and Darasuram There is a cluster of Navagraha Temples dating from the Chola dynasty near Kumbakonam in Tamil Nadu. There are Nine Temples comes under the name of “Navagraha  Temple”. Each temple is located in a different village. Each of these temples is considered an abode of one of the Navagrahams. However, the majority of these temples are dedicated to Shiva. The Surya temple is the only one dedicated to the Graham. The Surya temple was built around the 11th or 12th century C.E. The other temples were built earlier. Over night at Hotel.

Check out from the hotel and proceed to Tanjore.. Later we drive to Tanjore – the Chola Citadel. On arrival check in to hotel and after lunch sightseeing of Tanjore visiting – the world Heritage Brihadeshwara Temple (dedicated to Lord Shiva in the form of Linga) & The Palace Museum. Later return to hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast, proceed to Trichy. The major sight-seeing attractions of Trichy are Rock Fort Temple which crowns a gigantic piece of rock, soaring 83 meters upwards, from the encircling plains. Srirangam (Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple) is among the most venerated temples to Lord Vishnu in South India. Enclosed by seven rectangular walled courtyards, this 13th century temple has 21 gopurams. Later visit Sri rangam , Rock fort temple. Over night at Hotel.

After Breakfast Drive to Karaikudi, the capital city of Chettinad.Chettinad is the homeland of the Nattukottai Chettiars, a prosperous banking and business community, many of whose members migrated to South and Southeast Asia, particularly Ceylon and Burma, in the 19th and early 20th centuries.Chettinad is known for its culinary delicacies. Chettinad food now is one of the many reasons why people get to know Chettinad.Chettinad is rich in cultural heritage, art and architecture, and is well known for its houses, embellished with marble and Burma teak, wide courtyards, spacious rooms, and for its 18th century mansions. On arrival check in to hotel and onward for a short sightseeing tour of this area. Over night at hotel.

After breakfast proceed to Rameswaram.Up on arrival check in at Hotel. After check in, proceed for visiting sights of Rameswaram. It is an island of Lord Rama’s temple and a major Hindu pilgrim centre. The masterpiece of Dravidian architecture boasts of the largest temple corridor in India. Various rulers contributed to the construction of Ramanatha Swamy Temple since 12^th century. Each of the 22 wells here has a distinct water taste and possesses medicinal properties. Only Hindus can enter the inner sanctum. Also visit the Adam’s bridge – chain of reefs, sandbanks and islets that almost connect India with Sri Lanka. Overnight at hotel.

Visit of Ramanathaswamy Temple, To worship Lord Ramanatha or Ramalinga, the hallowed sand Linga made by Sita and installed by Sri Rama, pilgrims enter through the eastern gopuram. They offer prayers to Lord Anjaneya smeared with sindhoor. Over night at Hotel.

Check out from the hotel after breakfast and proceeds to Madurai.Up on arrival at Madurai Check in at Hotel. Late evening Visit Night ceremony at Meenakshi Temple. Over night at Hotel.

Morning, after breakfast, visit sights of Madurai. Madurai is known to be one of the oldest cities in south India. With a relaxed start of the we set on for sightseeing tour of Madurai visiting – “Azahagar Temple” , “Gandhi Museum” & “Tirumalai Nayak palace”. In the evening visit to “Tiruparankundram” – a cave cut temple which one of the six abodes of Lord Subramanian where in you can experience the real south Indian temple, different people & way of worships (son of God Shiva). Over night at Hotel.

After breakfast  drive to Kanyakumari .On arrival check in at hotel. Late afternoon visit Vivekananda rock memorial, Statue of Thiruvalloor. Enjoy Sunset from the tip of India. Over night at Hotel.

After breakfast proceed to Kovalam. On arrival check in at Hotel. Rest of the day will be at your leisure at beach hotel.Over night at Hotel.

Morning visit of Padmanbhaswami temple at Trivandrum .Later proceed for panoramic city tour of Trivandrum City. Late afternoon back to hotel. Over night at Hotel.

Transfer to Trivandrum International Airport.
